Iran, European powers hold nuclear talks amid threats of UN sanctions snapback

Representatives from France, Britain and Germany, known as the E3 nations, met Iranian diplomats in Istanbul Friday for nuclear talks amid E3 threats to reinstate sanctions, under a snapback mechanism, on Iran. The meeting came after Israeli-US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites and Tehran’s suspension of IAEA cooperation.
